These are stories from public and government aided schools.ANDIKA RWANDA organized competitions country wide amongst students and the best twelve stories one in English and another in Kinyarwanda would be picked and edited by experts and published. This story is entitled; the Reason Hare Has Long Ears. These stories help learners on how to read, even teachers and parents can read them for the students and their children.

This revised version of  English teacher’s guide has been designed for teachers of English in Primary 1. This teacher guide is aligned with the Competence-based Curriculum produced by REB in 2015. It will help the teachers to use the pupil’s readers guide while teaching the learners the reading, listening and speaking skills.

This guide/resource is designed to support trainers to facilitate a follow-up on a workshop for primary school teachers of grades 1 to 3 in the effective use and management of story books in their classrooms. Head teachers, deans of studies, mentors and SEOs are supposed to use this resource to help them execute their work. The guide is organized into three sections; Section 1: Introduction to the trainer’s guide which entails the background information of RCBI project and workshop, intended outcomes, learning objectives ,etc, Section 2: Workshop sessions, that includes scripted session plans for each of the workshop sessions, Section 3: Workshop resources that include ppts slides and any other resources that support the sessions.
