Assessing reading skills
In this video, the teacher is teaching children how to read fluently and after she assesses the children to find out those who need extra help.
The diagnostic tool is a part of the Rwandan English Proficiencey Standards (REPS) toolkit. It is used by Mentors to assess the "working" English proficiency of classroom teachers, based on the REPS performance indicators. This tool will allow mentors to monitor language and determine training needs on an individual and small group basis.
